SPACE BASE

7:30am - 8:40am and 3:15pm – 6:00pm term time
 
Space Base is Riccall’s out of school club.  Held in the Regen Centre, the club opens at 7:30am for parents to drop their children off on their way to work.  The children are taken to school by 8:50am.  At 3:15pm the children are collected from school and taken back to the club where they stay until picked up by a parent or carer by 6:00pm.
 
Space Base offers a range of activities, all supervised by trained and registered play workers.  On fine days the children can play safely in the large grassy area and play park.  Children who stay after 5:00pm are given a snack and a drink and all the children have a drink and a biscuit when they arrive at the club.
 
During school holidays Space Base is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm.  Daily workshops are held from 10:00am to 3:00pm.  A timetable of events is put out in advance.  Space Base is not exclusively for children whose parents work.  Children may come and play on any day providing there are the spaces available.  During holidays children may like to come along just to the workshops.
