GOLD CARD

Every week one child from each class is awarded the Gold Card in the assembly which takes place every Monday. The Gold Card means that the person awarded it gets special privileges for a whole week such as being first in line and sitting on a bench in assembly.

The Gold Card holder can also be the first pupil to leave the assembly each day, to go home after school and to go out to play.

If there are any events occurring in school that week, such as a visit from a travelling theatre or local artist, the Gold Card holders have first opportunity to take part in these activities.

There is also a display board in the hall where the name of each winner is written for everyone to see. The display board follows a theme. It changes every half term.
