GOLD CARD
Every week one child from each class is awarded the Gold Card in the assembly which takes place every Friday. The Gold Card means that the person awarded it is the class celebrity for a whole week. It entitles the person who is awarded it, the opportunity to be first in line for Tuck Shop on a morning, as well as when lining up for lunch each day.
The Gold Card holder can also be the first pupil to leave the assembly each day, to go home after school and to go out to play.
If there are any events occurring in school that week, such as a visit from a travelling theatre or local artist, the Gold Card holders have first opportunity to take part in these activities.
There is also a display board in the hall where the name of each winner is written for everyone to see. The display board follows a theme.
Riccall School children have just completed the present display and are currently choosing what reward they would like for this half term.
